3 tools in one: With the E-SESAM, you can

    • Remove the nose cone of the Model S
    • Remove the cap covering the stowed tow hook of the Model S facelift and Model X
    • Open the charge port of the Tesla Models S and X in an emergency.

Shock-resistant plastic, protects the vehicle. Leaves no marks with careful use.

The sturdy tow hook of the Model S and Model X can be found in the first-aid case stowed in the front trunk, The thread for it is underneath the vehicle’s arched plastic nose, known as the nose cone - or behind a firmly-sitting plastic cap at the bottom right of the fan protective grille of the Model S facelift and Model X. The E-SESAM enables you to remove all of these parts quickly, easily and properly.

For various reasons, the charge port can stick from time to time and be difficult to remove. In such cases, the E-SESAM will allow you to open it with a quick flick of the wrist - meaning you can charge your car right away.

Lovely cherry red in colour, complete with box.

Stories written by life no. 1:

Let’s imagine: It’s night, the wind is howling and the rain is lashing all around. You need to be towed (for whatever reason) and you now need to remove the nose cone. That is no joke.

If you believe the YouTube instructions, you might try and do it with a credit card (we tried more than 6 times and gave up). Or you could dive onto the front with your full bodyweight. When we tried, this just resulted in a loud crack but the nose stayed firmly in place.

That is why we sourced the nose cone tool in cheerful lovely cherry red. It makes it really easy: Start at the top right of the nose and lift it as though using a spoon. Anyone with parking sensors fitted needs to carefully remove these to continue removing the nose cone. Then, screw in the tow hook at the bottom right. Done.

    Shock report no. 2:

No night or rain this time. But the next trip is imminent, the battery desperately needs power and the charge port goes on the blink. There can be many reasons for this: Either the magnet inside the port is dirty or sticky, the charge port is out of alignment and mechanically jammed, or the charge port has heated up so much in the blazing sun that it has expanded and so got stuck - or condensate has run into it and frozen again after an icy-cold night.

Not a problem for you because you can simply lever the port with the pointed end of the E-SESAM. And because the E-SESAM has been developed by experts in automotive assembly/disassembly, nothing is damaged in the process.
